A Fun Day in July...

How does an easily distracted person blog? Very randomly. They are too busy not completing any tasks. Well, today I think I am recovering from heat exhaustion and I was laying down trying to tell Jacob a story. An hour later while sitting at the computer Jacob asks me "Is the big billy goat bad?" He also asked if the bears were bad? So I guess "The Three Bears and The Three Billy Goats Gruff" stories really affected him. The funny thing about the story of "The Three Bears" is that my dad used to tell that story to me. I can tell you that story in my sleep and in my mind I tell it just like he did.

ADHD

If Greg ever needed proof that I was ADHD today is the day. Seems as if I have started 50 things and not completed any of them.

But the good news of the day is this...

We decided to stay 4 days at Disneyland in May and the 1st of June. Yeah!!!!

I CAN make dollar rolls for my tea party.

The binding is made and sewn on Dad's retirement quilt (thanks to Jackie)

Ellie is making mini cupcakes all by herself and loving it.

I keep sewing, sewing, sewing quilt squares for my replica quilt blocks.

Jackie came to visit!!!

The NOT so good is this.

My bed is half made.

The dishes are half done.

I have not been outside once today.

The vaccuum is in the middle of the floor. (If I am not my mothers daughter I don't know who is!)

So there you have it a glimpse into my life. HAPPY DAY!!

A Few Thoughts...

Here are some questions that I have recently been asked by the children... "Does Buzz Lightyear shoot guns?" Jacob "Why is the Mom in Tangled (the movie) so mean?" Ellie "Mom can I eat the licorice?" Jeff, from the track meet with licorice in hand... go figure? " Why do your little kids love you so much?" Jay "Can I go to bed?" Jared at 6:00pm Life is good.

Today is the Day

Today is the day I am starting my blog. Wish me luck. I think I need a tutorial. I hope I don't have many spelling errors. This will be the place where I write about the fun, crazy things that happen in our family.
